I'm sure I read the Glass Menagerie in HS, but I don't remember anything about it.
I had both Mr. Powers and Mr. Martin. Mr. Powers was the best teacher I had at St. Joe's. His class is tough, but get as much out of as you can. He's a lot like a college prof too so it will prepare you for college some.
With Mr. Martin, I found you had too choices. Do everything he tells you, when he tells you, and exactly how he tells you or lose any shot at an A. I chose the latter. I was always stubborn that way.
I remember the Glass Menagerie very well. Not much of an action play. I believe the moral of the story is that the girl is really shy and the gentleman caller brings her out of her shell which is why she gives him a piece from her glass collection. It's one of those stories that you need to dig deep to understand the meaning behind it. More for chicks than cool young men.

Well, I don't remember ever reading it. What a boring family...non of us must remember reading it.
