24 reopened

To Keith - I never responded to your post about 24. All I can say after watching it tonight is that the show has gone way downhill and is getting more ridiculous than ever. Even the little things - like Charles Logan having a suit that fits Jack perfectly even though he's a few inches taller (who isn't taller than Kiefer). Looking forward to discussing it with you and Danny can jump in too since this is the first year that we're allowing him to watch it. It's so far fetched and more like fiction horror than drama.

I'm afraid that i disagree with you. I liked todays episode because it moved the plot forward, not every episode has to have bombs and stuff. It showed the Lennox guy is good and Chad Lowe is really bad. And, in my opinion, every show, in my mind, is too far-fetched, from 24 to Grey's Antamony to CSI to even The Office (even though the show is one of the funniest out there). Also, I see it as a drama, it fits into the case of Die Hard and Lethal Weapon type dramas. And just tell Danny that the farmer from the movie Babe is the bad guy.

Keith, are you new to 24? Yes all shows are far fetched, but this show used to be awesome. The first three seasons Tom and I were up until 3:00 a.m. watching the DVDs. I think it's watching Jack over and over escape certain death and yelling, "Thousands of innocent lives are at stake" which is starting to grate on my nerves. Also, it follows Prison Break and next to Prison Break it is downright boring.

I was surprised that the actual assassination attempt took place, though I won't miss Wayne Palmer as the prez at all. I absolutely loved David Palmer and when they killed him off (as well as Tony) the show lost something.

Which bad guy is the farmer from Babe? Fayed? I did tell him Chad Lowe used to date Becca on Life Goes On.

Oh - and I thought the bathroom scene with Morris was absolutely hideous. I'm getting tired of this guy's guilt trip and Chloe following him around nagging.

We'll have to discuss it more since you're the only one outside of our family that watches it.

I started watching at the start of the 4th season and recently bought the 2nd. In my opinion, their fifth season was their best, which is why it won so many awards. Even though Prison Break is a good one, i dont really watch it (Im trying to cut back on TV), but i do tape Heroes, which is another good show.

the farmer from babe was James Cromwell, Jack's dad. He's good as a bad guy. But in my opinion the real bad guy is the vice-president, played by Powers Boothe, who is always a bad guy (Sin City)

For a guy who armed terrorists to access nuclear weapons and being tortured, while the other kid just gets shot and wins a medal. The guy's guilt trip is pretty well-written. Besides Chloe is just worried her boyfriend/ex-husband type person.

And to end it, i heard Martha Logan, Audrey Raines, Aaron Pierce and new--Rick Schroeder is set to appear

Wow...you guys take your TV watching seriously. And here I am just watching TV for entertainment :-)

Noah, the only person who takes their TV watching more seriously is Ben.

Keith, I am dreading the return of Audrey as I can't stand the shape of her mouth. I read that Aaron and the Jean Smart (the former first lady) are an item now. Here's a little 24 trivia. Besides Kiefer, Aaron is the only character who has been on all six seasons.

I really hope Jack's daughter doesn't come back. She's another useless character.

Did you notice last night that Bill Buchanan gave Chloe an order to do something and she went running into the bathroom looking for Morris? She never did what Bill needed her to do. The only thing I can think is that Morris's guilt might be turned into something. Maybe he's a traitor all along.
